I bet you will never give us the answer.and i doubt why the gay here always like ask question like this.Maybe you can ask me how to decide the primary turns, how the primary turns affect the performance of the transistor, and how to calcate the respose current of the induced voltage in the ring core. I think those question are quite better than your question!
In fact, i have never done any project of energy-saving lamp. it seems that the gays here are all doing the job of energy-saving lamp, the low class EB.
i said that i have only done one project using ring core. But, i have done many analyse of ring core, and those analyse is far more profound than your question. and i will not tell you my knowkedge :)yes, you are right, i will never tell you my knowledge, because i do not like gays like you!
